Recycling is now big business and the industry¡s largest UK event is the annual CIWM (Chartered Institute of Wastes Management) exhibition and conference. The event is held at Paignton in Devon, and exhibition space is especially challenging as it is outdoors facing the seafront on the esplanade!

The Brief

Taylor is the UK¡s leading manufacturer of Waste and recycling containment products and presence at the event is a major part of their annual marketing plan.
Our brief was to co-ordinate Taylor¡s entire presence at the CIWM event.

The Solution

Cloud 9 organised the complete event including;

Pre-show promotion, invites and advertising
Organise marquee hire and erection
Design and build of 16 x 20 metre exhibition stand
All graphics and multimedia
Stand management and catering
Staff uniforms
Two formal evening hospitality events
Staff transportation and accommodation

Over a three-day period the Taylor stand received 1156 visitors, who collectively ate 173 bacon rolls and 459 lunches. They drank 1883 hot drinks.
