Sorry – we couldn’t resist that headline 
Carters of Moseley, on the stylish outskirts of Birmingham, is a new, modern-British restaurant.
Owners Brad Carter and Holly Jackson have their sights set high, and as a startup business it was important that first impressions were spot on.
Cloud 9 was delighted to be asked to be involved with such an exciting project from the very start.
We worked closely with the team to help develop a house style that not only worked through printed and online marketing, but also into the very restaurant interior too. We created the brand identity, took all the photography, designed and built their website and also formulated an ongoing marketing campaign, designed to rapidly grow trade in a competitive industry.
Although the restaurant is by no means provincial in its ambition, getting a strong community behind it was one of the key goals. We wanted Carters to feel like the sort of place you would want to take your fancy London friends to if they came to stay in the Midlands, without being too pretentious.
One of our priorities when we opened our new, independent restaurant was to find a design and marketing company that could not only design our brand ID but could also offer us a full service for all our marketing needs. We met with a number of different companies in and around the area, and felt strongly that Cloud 9 offered something different from everyone else we met. It was obvious that Mike and Clare are passionate about what they do and are prepared to go that extra mile.
We talked to the team about our ideas and they took that on board and developed things from there –everything they have designed for us has worked really well and the way they have built the web site means that I can access it to make changes easily.
