Blowing your own trumpet!

Well, initial feedback suggests that I came fifth from last in the C9 Pumpkin carving competition. This, I suppose, is nothing really to shout about but as I’m constantly being ribbed for not having posted a blog yet, I thought I’d take this chance to blow my own trumpet.
